Massachusetts State Employees Credit Union
Director
The Massachusetts State Employees Credit Union (MSECU) is a not-for-profit cooperative, owned by its members who save and borrow there. A spirit of cooperation, combined with a commitment to personalized services, creates a sense of “family” that sets the credit union apart from other financial institutions.
We are a not-for-profit financial cooperative. We exist to serve our members, not to make a profit, so we do not issue stock or pay dividends to outside stockholders. Instead, we return our earnings to members by providing lower loan rates, higher dividends on deposits and we charge lower fees.
The MSECU is governed by a Board of Directors, elected by and from the credit union’s membership. Board members serve voluntarily and receive no compensation.
We are seeking individuals who possess high ethical standards and the ability to be objective while exercising independent judgment. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of, and a commitment to the credit union philosophy. All candidates must be a member of the MSECU in good standing, must be bondable, and must be able too allocate sufficient time to effectively discharge the duties of a Director.
To apply for a position on the Board of Directors of the MSECU, please submit a resume and cover letter to either of the following:
