CU Swirl - Shared Branching NetworkPersonalized service is a major benefit of banking at MSECU and you don’t have to sacrifice convenience to get it. 

MSECU has joined together with other credit unions in a shared branching cooperative effort to bring you a new choice in financial convenience, the CU Service Centers ® Network (CU Swirl).

 Effective April 5th, 2010 You will be able to perform many of your financial transactions and obtain services in over 6,300 locations at branches of other Credit Unions locations and self-service branch kiosks (VCOM stations) belonging to the network. Previously, you or your family members may not have been able to access to our main branch location in Boston, MA. Now with CU Service Centers (CU Swirl) our members will find access to our Credit Union more convenient.

CU Service Centers’ Shared Branch Network links MSECU to participating credit unions electronically allowing our Credit Union members to do “branch banking” even when they visit a Credit Union branch that is not MSECU. This is a huge benefit to our members thought the state of Massachusetts and thought the country whose workplaces or homes are not near our Main Branch location in Boston, MA. Whether you live in Worcester, Essex or Suffolk Counties or across the country, chances are there’s a shared Credit Union branch or a VCOM station (self service branch kiosks) near you.

How can you tell which credit unions offer shared branching? Look for the “CU Swirl” logo.

At a “CU Swirl” shared branch location you can:

  • Make deposits and withdrawals
  • Make loan payments
  • Make transfers between accounts
  • And more!

Many shared branches also offer statement histories, money orders, traveler’s checks and notary services. Since services vary from one location to another, check with individual branches before your visit for a complete menu of available services, and don’t forget to bring photo identification.

Your credit union is now available 24/7/365 to assist you with your account! Many of the services available today at a CU Service Centers location can now be performed through the live person member call center outlet.
